22. Anatomical Analysis of Facial Expressions using Fuzzy Theory

Abstract

Facial expressions were examined by a fuzzy theory. Human face consists of four anatomical parts : orbital, nasal, oral and auricular. Membership functions were applied to analyze the features of tightening and loosening of facial muscles. In human the muscles of the auricular region are functionally weak.
