Abstract
We studied immobilization of radioactive Cs in fly ash Geopolymer. To inhibit dissolute radioactive Cs from Geopolymers made of radioactive fly ash, ultrasound treatment was applied. There were produced by Geopolymerization without and with ultrasound in NaAl_O_2 system or HPO_3 was carried out and the US behavior for the immobilization of radioactive species in Geopolymer was investigated. The results showed that using US treated Geopolymer was effective for the immobilization of the Cs and especially, phosphonic acid was useful for the immobilization in the presence of ultrasound.
