Cyclotrons in RIKEN RI Beam Factory (RIBF)

Abstract

RIBF is a cyclotron-based heavy ion accelerator facility. RIKEN has built nine cyclotrons so far, and the five cyclotrons currently in operation will be introduced. The history of the facility will be described, followed by an introduction to each cyclotron, and finally, a summary of the results obtained here and future prospects will be presented.
