The L-band linac at the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research, Osaka University has been renewed and upgraded for higher stability, improved reproducibility of operation modes and easier operation. Almost all the power supplies and peripheral facilities are replaced with new ones and a computer control system is newly introduced. The remodeling and the subsequent commissioning are successfully completed. To evaluate stability of the linac, the beam intensities are measured with time in two operational modes of the linac used in the various experiments. The intensity fluctuations in both the operational modes are reduced to one-tenth of previous values before renewal.
