Abstract

Inorganic-organic flexible hard-coat films on PET (Poly(ethylene terephthalate)) films were prepared by sol-gel method. Prepared hard-coat films had hight transmittance because main component was SiO₂. And the films had not only high flexibility but also hardness (3H, Pencil Hardness). This novel property thought to be based on dispersion of inorganic and organic components at a molecular level.
