The effect of centrifugal force on liquid phase sintering has been examined. The sintering behavior is well explained by the modified Kingery’s model in which promotive force of sintering is assumed to be capillary force and other force such as centrifugal force. Further, graded pore structure along with the direction of certrifugal force is observed, which indicates possibilities of tailoring pore structure by the present process.
