Abstract
A formed carbon powder electrode, which can be freely shape-controlled and decomposed during firing process, was used as a substrate to prepare a free standing ceramic thick film by the electrophoretic deposition (EPD). A free standing α-Al2O3 thick film can be fabricated using the electrode made from an graphite powder with the addition of PVA as a binder.
