Abstract
Preparation of ceramic slurry is one of the important processes in the ceramic colloidal processing. In that processing, the preparation of the slurry with thickness and high fluidity has needed to fabricate a fine green and sintered body. Generally, ball milling is used for the preparation of thick slurry. However, the preparation of the slurry having the dispersion and high fluidity takes long time on the ball milling. The blade-free planetary mixer developed recently is capable of synchronize mixing and de-airing for a sample in a sloped container, adding revolutions and rotations simultaneously and continuously. In this study, the fluidity of zircoia slurry prepared by planetary mixing will be compared with the fluidity of slurry prepared by ball milling.
