Abstract
By immersing an anodic alumina in ammonium hexafluorotitanate solution and ammonium hexafluorostannate at room temperature for a few hours, various composite nanohole arrays were prepared. The obtained composite nanohole arrays were annealed at 500 degree C. The composite nanohole arrays were observed by FE-SEM and EDX analysis. The photocatalytic activity of composite nanohole array for decomposition of NO was evaluated. The ability of decomposition of NO by composite nanohole array was almost the same as that by titania nanohole array. But the production rate of NO 3 + by the composite nanohole array might be larger than that by titania nanohole array.
