Abstract

The alumina of a particle was mixed to nickel-spinel. And the Al₂O₃nickel composites were prepared for it by the decomposition sintering process.In this study,the mechanical properties were measured.Three-point bending experiments showed an increase in strength for the nickel-reinforced alumina. The fracture strength was in excess of 490MPa.
