Abstract

Bulk density and Young's modulus of the Si₃N₄ doped β-spodumene ceramic significantly improve compared to those of the un-dopedβ-spodumene ceramic. The averaged thermal expansion coefficient between 293K and 300K is -0.032×10^-6/K for the ceramic doped with 23.1 mass% Si₃N₄.
