Abstract
A conduction mechanism of Li ions in lanthanum lithium tantalate was investigated by impedance spectroscopy and 7Li NMR. Conductivity spectra of La1/3-xLi3xTaO3 exhibited Jonscher' s universal dynamic response behavior. A scaling analysis showed that this conductor is expected to behave as a solid electrolyte. Correlation times of ionic motion were estimated from NMR spin-lattice relaxation times. Activation energy (ENMR) of the correlation time was confirmed to relate to that (Eσ ) of dc conductivity through the following equation : ENMR = (1-n) Eσ (n, power-law exponent).
