Abstract
β-FeOOH -carbon composites were prepared by mixing FeOOH and carbon powder in an aqueous solution, and lithium intercalation properties were examined. As the current densities become larger, the specific capacities become smaller. However, relatively large capacity of 90mAh/g was obtained at a high current density of 3A/g. The large capacities are assumed to be resulted from the uniform composite structure.
