Abstract
Phospho-olivine LiFePO4 is a excellent candidate for the next generation of rechargeable lithium battery that is environmentally benign and inexpensive, In this study, we exploited the advantages of hydrothermal synthesis at low energy cost. To avoid oxidization of Fe2+, LiFePO4 was prepared with high purity FeSO4 and ascorbic acid was added as reducer.
