New oxide compounds with preferred orientation structure for Thermal Barrier Coating

Abstract

We proposed new oxide compounds with low thermal conductivity and layer structure as candidate materials for Thermal Barrier Coating. In order to assuage the heat stress of TBC films, we sought the possibility of controlling the preferred orientation structure of these compounds by plasma spraying.
