Abstract
Centrifugal Sintering Equipment was developed. We have studied the method of making it sinter, pressurizing a sample by centrifugal force. The mechanism of the equipment carries out high-speed rotation of the rotor in a sintering furnace. A sample is set to the rotor.It is characterized by pressurizing a sample, without using a pressure medium like pressurization sintering processes, such as HP and HIP. We think that it is effective in sintering of a thin film and thick film, multi-stacked film, and small complicated form ceramics.At a present stage, it is possible to apply the centrifugal force of about 36,000 G to the sample of W10XH10XT5mm at 1,200 degrees C and 20,000rpm, and we introduce the result.
