Abstract

Furan polymer/metal oxide(SnO₂ or Cu₂O) composite were preparated by the polymerization of furfuryl alcohol in the presence of surfactant and metal oxide.On calcination at 600^o C in N₂ gas the polymer composite material was converted into carbon/metal oxide nanocomposites.The results of sample charactarization are also reported.
