Abstract
Fibrous SrTiO3 were prepared by two kinds of methods: solid state reaction of fibrous TiO2 and SrCO3 and hydrothermal reaction of Sr(OH)2 and H2Ti4O9. Fibrous SrTiO3 prepared by hydrothermal reaction consisted of nanosize crystals with high crystallinity and showed higher photocatalytic activity than that prepared by solid state reaction. Nitrogen could be doped in fibrous SrTiO3 by calcining the powder in the atmosphere of NH3 at 600oC. The nitrogen doped fibrous SrTiO3 exhibited the excellent photocatalytic NO destruction capability in the visible light range.
