Abstract
Diamond films were synthesized under atmospheric pressure using the modified plasma CVD method above the liquid surface which we had previously developed. Self-standing diamond films with the thickness of 10 m were synthesized from 80 mol% ethylene glycol aqueous solution. The films showed the transparency with the high crystallinity indicated by X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy.Diamond films were synthesized under atmospheric pressure using the modified plasma CVD method above the liquid surface which we had previously developed. Self-standing diamond films with the thickness of 10 μm were synthesized from 75 mol% ethylene glycol aqueous solution. The films were translucent with the high crystallinity indicated by X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy.
