Abstract
Recently, metal-nanostructured substrates with tunable SPR including nanorods, nanowires and nanotriangles et al., have been applied as SERS substrates to improve the sensitivity and reliability of conventional chemical and biological sensors. Here, these Ag nanoparticles with different shapes were self-assembled on glass substrates and served as ideal substrates for studying the single-particle SERS enhancement dependence of metal shapes by using near-field scanning Raman spectroscopy combined with in situ AFM.
