Abstract
The hydrogen adsorption and desorption isotherms of activated carbon loaded with Pd were measured at 40 ºC over the hydrogen pressure range 0-3.2 MPa. The hydrogen storage capacity of activated carbon loaded with and without Pd were 0.43 and 0.16 mass% at 40 ºC under hydrogen pressure of 3.2 MPa, respectively. Thus, the Pd load had an effect on the hydrogen storage capacities of activated carbon.
