Preparation of Functional Material by geopolymerization of coal lbriquette ash

Abstract

Coal briquette ash usually contains activated clay minerals due to its combustion at relatively high temperature. In the present study, novel functional material was prepared by geopolymerization process using coal briquette ash and NaOH solution. The compressive strength of hardend body was mainly affected by curing temperature lather than concentration of NaOH solution.
