Abstract
Porous ceramics are of interest to their applications. We have already reported that harogen-free aqueous titanate solution acted as a dispersant for preparing aluminum oxide slurry. In this study, the fluidity of aqueous TiO2 slurry with titanate solution was investigated. The TiO2 slurries were impregnated to melamine sponge to prepare the porous TiO2 ceramics. Sponge-like porous TiO2 ceramics were able to fabricate by the sintering of sponge impregnated with aqueous TiO2 slurry.
