Abstract
We tried to synthesize perovskite-type oxyflorides BaMO2F (M=Sc, In) under ambient and high pressure. As a result, the BaMO2F (M=Sc, In) could be synthesized under ambient and high pressure and only ambient pressure, respectively. This result indicates that these compounds are stable under ambient pressure. According to the powder X-ray diffraction, the anions is considered to be distributed randomly in BaMO2F (M=Sc, In). The anions of BaMO2F (M=Sc, In) seems to be rearranged during fluoridation reaction.
