Calculations of surface potential of C-S-H – H₂O system using thermodynamic phase equilibrium model with consideration of double layer

Abstract

The thermodynamic phase equilibrium model for the composition of solution and the C-S-H considering electric double layer has been developed. In order to verify this model, the surface potentials of C-S-H in contact with various alkali salt concentrated solutions were calculated by this model and compared with the zeta potential experimental results with same conditions. By this verification, this model is thought to be valid.
