Abstract

Calcium aluminate cement is expected as sulfuric acid resistance material. It is used as polymer modified cement (PMC) for repairing material. It is reported that formation of polymer film and dispersibility of polymer particles are important for composite mechanism of PMC using ordinary portland cement. This study discusses composite mechanism, hydrate and microstructure of PMC using calcium aluminate cement.
