Abstract

Polycrystalline BiFeO3 (BFO), Ti-doped (BFT), Mn-doped (BFM), and (Mn, Ti)-codoped BiFeO3 (BFMT) thin films were fabricated on Pt/SrTiO3 (100) substrate by PLD method. According to the X-ray diffraction analysis, all films were found to be polycrystalline BFO with (100) and (110) orientations. In the BFMT film, the leakage current was greatly reduced compared with other films, and well saturated P-E hysteresis curves were observed with measurement frequency of 20 kHz at room temperature. The remanent polarization and coercive field for maximum electric field of 2100 kV/cm were 75 μC/cm2 and 310 kV/cm, respectively.
