Abstract
Glass-ceramics of the aluminium-containing Na+-superionic conductors were prepared by crystallization of glasses with the composition Na3+3x+yY1-xAlySi3-yO9, and the effects of Al element on the separation of the phase and the microstructural effects on the conduction properties of glass-ceramics were discussed.
Na5YSi4O12-type glass-ceramics were obtained as a stable phase at high-temperatures. The ionic conductivity of Na3.7Y0.8Al0.1Si2.9O9 was 3.13x10-2 S/cm at 300 degC.
