Abstract
It is now well-recognized that grain-boundary sliding is essential for large-scale deformation such as the superplastic elongation of polycrystalline materials. In this study, the optimum microstructure for superplastic deformation was investigated to enhance the superplastic properties, by way of example, low maximum flow stress, higher strain rate and failure strain using discrete element method (DEM).
