Abstract
Functional bioactive ceramics were prepared by designing of chemical composition and microstructure through hydrothermal methods. According to the animal implant test, ceramics of calcium deficient hydroxyapatite with unique microstructure composed of rod-shaped particles should be built in bone metabolism. These functional bioactive ceramics must be suitable for regenerative medicine.
