Abstract
A RuO2 nanosheet monolayer (RuO2ns(ML)) was fabricated by a self-assembly method on a flexible polymer film, polyethylene terephthalate (PET). This RuO2ns(ML)/PET was used as the current collector for preparation of a thick RuO2ns/PET film by electrophoretic deposition. The EPD film exhibited stable pseudo-capacitive behavior in acidic electroyltes. This new electrode assembly method can be utilized to fabricate highly anti-corrosive and conducting films on various substrates that current transparent and/or flexible conducting electrodes cannot offer.
