Abstract
ZnO nanocrystals(NCs) have attracted increasing attention recently because it is nontoxic, chemically stable towards air and inexpensive luminescent material (blue/UV optoelectronics, including light-emitting or even laser diodes) instead of the GaN-based structures. However, in general, two emission peaks appear in the ultraviolet (UV) and visible region in the photoluminescence (PL) spectra of ZnO QDs because of surface states or a trapping effect. In this study, we synthesized the ZnO NCs provided two step process using a microreactor and consider effects of aging on visible region PL to obtain ultraviolet emission.
