Abstract
In this study, electric double layer was applied to prepare slurry with well-dispersed SrTiO3 (ST) nanocube particles. This is because that if organic surfactant was used to prepare well-dispersed slurry, it is impossible to prepare epitaxial junction between neighbored ST nanocube particles. First, ST nanocube particles were prepared by solvothermal method with ethanol, strontium hydroxide, titanium tetraisopropoxide (TP) and titanium oxide nanoparticles. As the result, ST nanocube particles with average particle size of 15 nm was obtained in this study. Next, strontium carbonate as by-product was removed by washing with dilute acetic acid solution. It was investigated to clarify the optimum HCL concentration for the maximum thickness of electric double layer.
