Abstract
Au nanoparticles exhibit localized plasmon resonance (LSPR) and are expected to be biochemical sensors because LSPR absorption wavelength depends on the environment around them. However, the LSPR peak was also shifted by particle aggregation. Therefore supporting and dispersion of the Au nanoparticles on the substrate was required. In this study, we prepared highly-dispersed Au nanoparticle in the TiO2 thin film by photodeposition and layer-by-layer deposition. The chemical additive in photodeposition process was affected Au dispersion in the TiO2 layer.
