Abstract
Cu nanoparticles have received great attention in the growing printed electronics market due to their unique electrical properties and low cost. In this study, copper nanoparticles with a small size (<10nm) and narrow size distribution have been synthesized by using various kinds of amine as a surface capping agents. Surface capping agents showed great effects on the sintering temperature of copper nanoparticle ink. By selecting proper capping agents, the sintering temperature of as prepared copper ink was as low as 100oC, which could greatly expand the application of copper ink in fabrication of conductive pattern on flexible substrate by inkjet printing.
