Abstract
It has been believed that structure of V2O5⋅nH2O on silica gradually changes from isolated form to stacked form after polymerization. This structural rearrangement model, however, has not yet been confirmed. In order to confirm this model, in-situ Raman spectrometry of V2O5⋅nH2O after polymerization on silica was performed. Detailed spectral analysis revealed that standing after polymerization promotes stacking of V2O5⋅nH2O. This strongly supports the structural rearrangement model of V2O5⋅nH2O previously proposed.
