Abstract
We have been successful in perovskite-type oxyfluorides, BaFeO2F, SrFeO2F, BaInO2F, PbScO2F, PbFeO2F and investigated their crystal structure. As a result, all compounds except for PbFeO2F have cubic structure, even though their tolerance factor are not equal to 1. On the other hands, it is indicated that Mn-containing oxyflurides, PbMnO2F, SrMnO2F, Sr(Mn1/2Ga1/2)O2F, have tetragonal structure. In this study, we try to prepare high purity SrMnO2F, Sr(Mn1/2Ga1/2)O2F and investigates the crystal structure.
