Abstract
XAFS spectroscopy is sensitive to oxidation states and coordination environments of the transition metal elements such as Mn and Fe, especially the pre-edge feature, which is located ~15-20eV before the main K-edge XANES of the transition metal elements. High-resolution XANES spectroscopic measurement system was established in the BL24XU in SPring-8 with a double Si(400) channel-cut crystal. Its energy resolution is 0.3eV at the Fe-K-edge.
