Preparation and dielectric property of Bi(Fe_1/4Ni_3/8Ti_3/8)O₃-BaTiO₃ ceramics

Abstract

The solid solution Bi(Fe1/4Ni3/8Ti3/8)O3-BaTiO3 system was prepared by conventional high temperature reaction. The single phase of perovskite-type compounds was obtained in the range of x<0.5 and its X-ray powder diffraction pattern was indexed with the pseudo-cubic cell. The temperature dependence of the dielectric constant for x = 0.5 showed a broad peak at about 350C.
