Abstract
We have succeeded in synthesizing SiC nano-fiber from Polycarbosilane (PCS) using Single Particle Nanofabrication Technique. PCS were cross-linked along ion tracks of nano-size in diameter through the whole thickness of polymer thin film. The diameter of the nano-fiber was contlolled by the dose of EB irradiation.
