Abstract
Metal nanoparticles are functional materials and immobilization technique is essential for their wide applications. In this work, Au nanoparticles and TiO2 composite thin film was prepared by combination of photodeposition and layer-by-layer method. The assembly process was monitored by UV-vis adsorption measurement. Intensity of the Au plasmon peak (542 nm) was increased with the times of Au deposition and the peak wavelength little changed. The results indicate that Au particle diameter did not change by repeating Au photodeposition.
