Abstract
Layered double hydroxide (LDH) is a layered clay composed of divalent and trivalent metal ions. Because of its selectivity of metal ion at brucite layer and anion at interlayer, the detailed control of intercalation ions is able and consequently LDH is hoped as a new functional material. Many researches on LDH have been done. However, according to the reports, the morphology of LDH was only powder. So we tried to fabricate bulky LDH with by hydrothermal hot-pressing method (HHP), because HHP treatments enable the densification of powder at low temperature. As a result, we successfully fabricated bulk body with LDH structure.
