Abstract
(0.95-x)barium titanate (BaTiO3, BT)-0.05bismuth magnesium titanate (Bi(Mg1/2Ti1/2)O3,BMT)-x bismuth ferrite (BiFeO3,BF) solid solution ceramics were prepared using a conventional solid–state synthesis, and crystal structure and electric properties were investigated. Synchrotron x-ray diffraction pattern revealed a single phase of perovskite for all samples. Splitting of (111) peak was observed when x is over 0.685, indicating that crystal structure of samples turned from pseudo cubic to rhombohedral with increasing BF.
