Abstract
To date, crystallization of Cu-containing glasses in multi-component system has not been fully examined. On the other hand, in Sr-Cu-O system, there are several crystalline phase possessing intriguing thermal/electrical properties. In order to fabricate the functional glass-ceramics consisting of the Sr-Cu-O phases, we prepared glasses in SrO-CuO-B2O3 system by a conventional melt-quenching technique, and investigated their crystallization behavior.
