Abstract
Calcium phosphate has a high biocompatibility, thus, that is applied for artificial bone and gene delivery carrier. However, the development of high performance drug delivery system (DDS), having sensitivity to intracellular pH, has not yet been achieved. This study based on calcium phosphate-peptide composites. In previous study, we have been demonstrated that side chain of peptide greatly affected the surface potential and protein adsorption ability of calcium phosphate-peptide composites. The purpose of this study is the preparation of calcium phosphate combined with peptide and protein (or drug with a low MW) and is the evaluation of pH-sensitive drug release ability.
