Abstract
Tungsten carbide (WO3) nanoparticles have been prepared by thermal decomposition at 793K of the complex which are composed of ammonium paratungstate, citric acid and ammonia solution. The diameter of the nanoparticles is 20 to 80nm. In this study, when the precursor contains amino group and citric acid as ligands, and the crystal structure of the precursor is different from APT and tungsten acid, the significant reduction in particle size is confirmed.
