Abstract
New chemical reaction route of lanthanum germinate oxyapatite was developed using ammonia precipitation method from homogeneous aqueous solution. The chemical reaction route was analyzed by combinations of powder X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric-differential thermal analyses using the precipitates and the samples heated between 873K and 1373K. The lanthanum germanate oxyapatite was formed above 1073K accompanied with the impurity phase formation. Single phase of the lanthanum germanate was obtained by the heating at 1373K at which temperature was lower than the synthesis temperature by conventional solid state reaction method.
