Abstract
Lead-free (Na,K)NbO3(NKN) ceramics were synthesized by a 2-step sintering method under an atmospheric pressure or low oxygen partial pressures to investigate the effect of such atmosphere on the grain growth behavior. It was found that the NKN ceramics sintered under lower oxygen partial pressure showed better uniform microstructures, and demonstrated different grain growth exponent n constant from the samples sintered in an atmospheric pressure.
