Synthesis of nanosheets with near infrared emmision by the exfoliation of perovskite layered oxide.

Abstract

This paper reports on the synthesis of Nd³⁺ doped nanosheets by exfoliation of layered perovskites, KLa_1-xNd_xNb₂O₇, K₂La_2-xNd_xTi₃O₁₀ . These nanosheets are applicapable in advanced bio-imagining proves and bio-sensors, owing to the molecular-scale thickness and luminescence in the near infrared region by the 808nm excitation.
