Abstract

A stereoscopic pair has been taken through a scanning electron microscope using a goniostage. Stereographic conditions of a scanning electron micrography are studied for realizing tireless natural perception of depth and well-defined magnifications.
Panum's fusional area and stereoscopic acuity are measured with Wilson type stereoscope, and then thresholds of the tireless visions are determined. The shifting angle of the goniostage is reasonably chosen to be 3° for natural perception of depth.
Two methods which define the magnifications are proposed.
